Bouctouche Beach, New Brunswick

July 8th, 2024.

Finally my first trip to a New Brunswick beach… well maybe not my first trip to NB beach, but other than Parlee Beach, I don’t think I have been to any others. Located in the cute little town of Bouctouche, this lovely beach was easy to get to and has an amazing board walk.

It was a beautiful day…hot..the water was warm… of course its the Northumberland straight. On this particular day there was a lot of jellies in the water, which is not really the norm for this time of year, but I guess with warmer waters it is to be expected.

The board walk was the entire length of the beach, a great little walking path with access points to the beach along the way.

There are great facilities, lots of parking, however no lifeguards were assigned. The shoreline was shallow, so good for small children. Great for anyone who has mobility issues. Located about 1/2 an hour from Moncton.

Great little beach to attend for the day.

I am a beach lover. Going to the beach is what I do best. My soul dreams of warm water waves in the winter. Diving into the salt water is healing of mind, body and soul. Standing on the edge of earth, the softest earth, as it meets the sea is magical.
